📽️ suicide club | i love this movie. it's an all-time fave, and i actually watched it most recently (apr 10 '26) because i was super down in the dumps. i recognize that it's probably a heavy movie, given the whole "unexplained wave of mass suicides" thing (and the "non-graphic rape and murder during a bizarre musical number" thing), but it's so weird and has such an odd energy, idk, comfort movies are comfort movies.. the story is bizarre, there's a minor antagonist who looks like japanese frank n' furter, absolutely zero questions are answered, and ryo ishibashi is there. i love it. five stars. literally never get sick of it.
