🎮 cyberpunk 2077 | i just want to talk about my favorite thing to do in this game. i get on my motorcycle and cruise around until i find an unsuspecting cop milling about. once i find one, i go into my quickhacks menu, aaaand i kill them with my brain. this starts the NCPD manhunt; i try to evade them on my motorcycle while also blowing up their cars with my brain (or just killing them if I’m low on ram). gradually, my criminal meter ticks up. at three stars (i think?), they start setting up their police car barricades, but i can just drive my bike between them (and blow their cars up with my brain). by the 5th star, maxtac is called, which means i'm almost there. the last thing i need to do here is successfully escape. that’s the goal: hit a 5-star manhunt, and get away (while taking as many down in the process as i can). it’s about as hard as it sounds, but not for the reasons you might think: at 1 and 2 stars, it’s stupid easy to accidentally evade police attention and have them stop looking for you prematurely, so keeping their interest long enough to hit five stars is a huge pain. at time of writing, i've hit 5 stars 8-10 times, and of i’ve only died twice (both because my ding dang steam deck not letting me summon by ding dang bike). i am the scourge of the NCPD.
